Biogas-related business of Adsorption Technology Industry Co., Ltd.
We propose biogas-related device such as methane purification devices, methane storage containers, and hydrogen purification devices.
B-DASH project
(Sewerage Innovative Technology Demonstration Project) Implementation
From 2015 to 2018, the B-DASH project was implemented with the cooperation of cooperating companies and local governments.
In order to reduce the volume of sludge at water treatment plants, methane fermentation, which decomposes organic matter in the sludge, is performed in digestion tanks. The biogas generated by this methane fermentation is mainly used as energy for heating facilities such as digestion tanks, and the surplus gas is also effectively used for biogas power generation. However, in small-scale treatment plants, the amount of surplus gas is so small that it is difficult to use, and in most cases, it is incinerated.
In this project, we aim to efficiently convert the surplus gas that is incinerated into energy. Surplus biogas from three sewage treatment plants will be processed into methane, transported in storage containers, and concentrated in one location. We have proven that it can be used to generate electricity.
