What is PSA
Pressure Swing Adsorption
In this method, a mixed gas is supplied into an adsorption tower filled with adsorbents such as zeolite or activated carbon, and the target components are separated and purified by repeating pressurization (adsorption process) and decompression (desorption process).

Principle of PSA
Continuous separation and purification are performed by utilizing the difference in adsorption amount and adsorption speed of each component to the adsorbent.
Separation/purification method using PSA
Continuous separation and purification of target components by repeating ① to ③
Differences in device names
Even if the device is based on the same principle, we use it differently based on the "purpose", "application", "concentration of source gas", etc. as follows.
Generator: A device for the purpose of extracting nitrogen or oxygen from the atmosphere (air) as a raw material
Purifucation device: When the concentration of the target component in the raw material gas is high (50% or more), or when the purpose is to remove unnecessary trace components
Concentration device: When the concentration of the target component in the source gas is low (less than 50%)
